I know I have said the MINI 10-11k oil change was fine before, but I went and changed it anyway today at 6,000 miles. My main reason was my 2200 mile road trip in 10 days. The first part of this trip will be a 1000 mile sprint at 80 mph or so up to Maryland. I just wanted fresh oil for that.

I have to say changing oil in the MINI was about as hard as changing it in my HEMI Durango. Took all of about 20 min. The price was right also!

I have to say I like the look of the NAPA filter over the stock one.

Be Very very careful in VA, especially this time of year up I95. Over 80 will get you a quick trip to Reckless Driving court which I hear is NOT fun.

Understand fully, done this jaunt over 20 times. Hit VA and slow down. Heck up near DC your lucky to hit 45 on I95
