I ordered a 2006 Space Blue MCSa on June 30th. Just now I called (for the first time, can you believe that!) 866-ASK-MINI for the status. It said "Your MINI is scheduled for production on July 16th."

Let's say this timeframe holds true: then how long after that will it be until it leaves the shores of England?

I was told that the ship will make its way across the Atlantic to either Elizabeth, NJ or Bayonne, NJ, which are both big shipping ports for the Northeast.

I'm just wondering when the next ship full of MINIs leaves for the east coast of the United States after July 16th... anyone know? Do they always stop off in New Jersey/NYC first?

Check the 1st Gear Forums. There are plenty of threads there dealing with this subject.

My 06 was completed on 6/21 and arrived in NJ on the Freedom 7/8.
