When washing my car on a beautiful early spring day i noticed that there seemed to be much more brake dust on the front wheels then the rear ones...is this normal or do i need my brakes adjusted or just deal with it.....

Thanks

Generally speaking the front brakes work harder than the rear ones. I'm not sure if you ever go biking, but if you're ever mountian biking and try to stop with just the rear brake, the tail will keep going in the direction you're turning and make you lose control. Not good. So your front brakes will get more dust becuase they're used more. No problem, no need for adjustment.

HI Docdesi
Yep, these Minis throw alot of brake dust. What you are seeing is normal. There are alot of dicussions around about this with various thoughts on how to minimize the dust from frequent cleaning, to insalling "kleen wheels" to installing a different type of brake pad.

Greetings,
Its typical that the front brakes generate more brake dust than the rear brakes!!
Solution: I found that waxing my wheels with Meguiar's Gold has cut down on the amount of brake dust build up and also makes the wheels much, much easier to clean. When the original pads wear out you can replace them with cleaner pads from MiniMadness   !
Kind Regards,
Ron
