LOL many may not Know but Mike King (the driver of the winning MINI) is a very very good driver.... Now I love MINIs and when mine arrives it is bound for H-Stock Autocross... but given equal drivers in the STX class the MCS will have a hard time with WRXs.... Also I agree most subie drivers are great people .... don't let one troll represent the crowd....

oh and yes MINIs Rule...!!!!!

I considered a WRX before I bought my MC, but prefer the looks of the MINI, liked the handling as well. That being said, I have a cousin who has a WRX and he is into the performance mods as much as any of the guys in the Performance forum on MCO. His car is fast, handles extremely well and is actually pretty fun to drive. He told me to bring my MC to the next Scooby meet he goes to, noting that most of the guys are into cars period and would love to check it out.

Anyone who hasn't gone to watch an autocross should - great fun to watch, all kinds of cars out there and people having a hoot doing it.

Lets put aside all HP, faster, bigger engine nonsense. The WRX isn't even on the map as far a design and styling goes.

If you've ever sat in a Subaru.... you know what I mean.

The MINI is the coolest best designed car on the road. That's why I own one.

Woodside-I agree with you in theory, generally subaru interiors are not particularly stunning, but I was very impressed when we originally test-drove the WRX. You gotta give it props for improved styling (and the MOMO steering wheel is great!).

I want my MCS so I can stop talking about the WRX. Just called the dealer, and I am about a month and a half away from ordering!

Okay, take the guy who drove that MINI and put him in one of those WRXs and lets see who gets a faster time then???
I have a MCS and my bf has a WRX, so I know what power and capability each car has.
I think it was all driver....
