Or the Summit Point Shenandoah Track (MINI Meet East 2006) event at Summit Point, WV.

 

WV is too far for me...

I'm going to show up at Summit Point for the race/stuff on Thursday. I'm not taking the school or racing, just showing up and watching. Even with MME taking place a whole hour from where I live I don't think I'm going to show up for anything else, mostly because there doesn't seem to be too much going on (at least that interests me).

 

I'm leaving Thursday for MME from Western Ohio. People came from the East Coast to MME last year when it was nearby me, albeit 70 miles to my East, so I figure it's just the right thing to do to return the favor [besides, I am showing my car there]. I'm not going to Summit Point, however, as the one day school is wayyyyyy too pricey [you can get a BMWCCA TWO DAY school for THAT price]. I've never been that far East and want to take in some Civil War battlefield sites before heading back to Ohio on Sunday.

The North American Ultimate Mini Challenge race will be interesting, I have it that a couple of the contenders are Turbo only aspirated.
