Unfortunately this is the only pic near Deal's Gap (aka Tail of the Dragon) I got. I was so excited to drive it I forgot to take pics.

 

IMHO nothing beats North Carolina BBQ. This place has been in business for more than 45 yrs. It was very tasty and located in Henderson, NC.

My new MINI is now safely at home with 2140 miles under its belt. I would like to thank Faron at the MINI Center for his help. He is a great guy with a wonderful family that we had the pleasure having dinner with in San Antonio.

Thanks to Roadshow MINI in Memphis for getting our MINI fixed in record time with NO appointment.

IMO, if you have time to combine picking up your MINI with a roadtrip, you have to do it. You wan't regret it.
