I Want My Telescoping Steering Wheel!!

The New Beetle (most logical comparison car) and Ford Focus (most mentioned comparison car) both have Telescoping Steering Wheels (Moves In and Out). This is a great feature because it means the car fits you AND the wife perfectly.

Cooper Doesn't have one. This seems to be a serious omission. Any word on how the car fits a couple 5'4" and 6'0"?

Cooper! Wake up! Hey Cooper!

Well..... I'm not quite 6' but how about this....
me = 5'10"
gf = 5'4"

We both sit very comfy in the front seats.... with still some leg room for
back seat passengers.

The telescoping steering wheel isn't that much of a factor for me since I haven't had one for quite some time......
Also something to consider.... the seats are VERY adjustable..... Could be a pain if you two are switching off alot...... but would allow for individual adjustment.
I really think BMW will see this as a problem in the future and make auto/memory seats available sometime down the road.
Hope this helps.

when BMW builds a car they spend alot of time on the small details such as steering wheel placement. Im sure the mini is the same way. Thats one of the things that makes them the best. Why move it if its perfect to begin with?
