Episode “Maserati Story” has an interview with Frank Stevenson, who is a head designer for Ferrari and Maserati and who was head of the design team for the new MINI. Interesting dialogue about the beer can exhaust pipe design. Other than the commercials and self promotion BS the entire show is about the new MINI.

 

Very interesting. I was almost embarrassed for Frank S.--the host(McGuire/sp?) had to be the worst interviewer I have observed/heard. GOD, he couldn't shut up and let Frank answer. And his foolish grin while mugging for the camera--makes you appreciate the vast majority of TV interviewers. Geez, that guy didn't get under my skin much, did he? Thanks for letting me get that out there. Nick

I watched the part about the bulldog and beer can too. That interviewer was definately annoying for sure. I will have to go back and watch the rest now to see if it mentions anything else about the Mini, I DVRed it, and turned it away after he began talking about Ferraris and Mazers.

 

Yep Barry should go to interviewer school, but he's a car guy & promotes the love of all cars. I'll give him a pass. I enjoyed the interview for what it was.

 

Missed this... Anyone out there got it on their ReplayTV, and have one of the internet sharing capable units?

 

Saw it this morning, Barry was a little worse than usual. It's better than most info-mercials.
