Floor Mats

Is it just the MCS's that have the "Cooper S" embroidered on the floor mats? Mine are just plain black...

Carpeted mats AFAIK only have the MINI logo regardless of color. The rubber mats have either the "S" logo or the MINI logo. The mats with the "S" logo is more expensive for some reason

My dealer threw in the MINI logo rubber mats for free. While I would prefered the "S" logo version, they were free so I'm not complaining.

I don't have have mats

We picked up our mini a few weeks ago, and it wasn't for a week or so I realized, THEY NEVER PUT MATS IN OUR NEW CAR!
They never asked about mats, I just assumed they were in the car. I would have paid for them if they had mentioned it. Another thing on the list when we go to the dealer for the first service.

no mats!

I didn't get mats in my car either! I also assumed they were there (why wouldnt they be?) So I had to buy some rubber mini logo floor mats last month. Just 2 months of driving with no mats dirtied the car up quite a bit.
The dealership gave me a free mini hat. Which I haven't even used yet.

Floor Mats included!

When I started the purchase process for my MCS it was listed at MSRP + $95 for floor mats. (a good deal considering the two dealers closest to me wanted $5000 and $3500 over sticker with mats included). By the time I closed the deal the price was MSRP and free mats. Still can't believe my local dealer wanted 5K over MSRP. They acted surprised when I told them I was willing to drive 30 minutes out of my way to save 5 grand. DUH...

Picked up my MCS last week and I got a nice piece of cardboard in the driver's side and the original factory plastic in the passenger side. Tres fancy

Can't complain too much as I paid MSRP and picked up a set of original MINI mats from ebay for $20 less (including shipping) than the dealer. Gotta love ebay

I did get a swanky MINI key chain that my MINI key will not fit on though

I got a $350 dollar discount and free mats back in Sept. 03, when I bought my new MC. During the time my MINI was being built, the MA I was dealing with quit. The $350 discount was in writing, the floor mats were just verbal between me and the MA. The new MA said, "you'll have to pay for the floor mats". I replied, "no way, cancel my order and give me my $500 back".

They gave the the floor mats.

Sometimes you just gotta do what ya gotta do.

No floor mats here, but I got a sort of director's chair that says "Cincinnati MINI."

I'm in the ordering process and my MA is giving me the rubber floor mats for free and not charging installation on the bonnet stripes... I'm paying MSRP for my MC. That saves me about $220, so I'm happy

I asked my MA when I ordered the car and he was nice enough to throw them in for free when I picked up the car.

That being said, does anyone know a good place to get those clear plastic mats that fit in the MINI?

No we just got floor mats....however my brother-in-law got two shirts with each Mini and a Boot Box for the first one and the rubber boot mat for the latest Mini.

He told me not to say anything to the salesman about the shirts....they usually surprise you.:impatient No surprise...hell he did not even offer to help me load her on the trailer...an extra set of eyes would not have hurt.

So yesturday I called the gift shop to see how late they would be open, left a VM and not even a call back. ALL I WANT IS SOME SHIRTS!!!!

Ok, I am better now.

So i guess it depends on the dealership
I bought my car used through the Mini dealership and the mats where already included. Now my Mini was a corporate demo, so im not sure if they just threw in the mats for the guy at headoffice or they came with the car. Would be nice if it had some sort of text or image on them, like "Mini Cooper" or the symbol or somethin. lol

The mats with the "S" logo is more expensive for some reason
My mats were thrown in with the car. I got the S logo ones. Good for 10 horsepower too!! Guess that's why they cost more. $$ = HP.

I have the factory rubber ones & they are great! Make sure to get the ones with the S on them for a nice HP boost. Carpet ones may even have more HP, but I have yet to see any dyno graphs for them.

I have a brand new OEM Rubber Boot Mat Extension that goes over the rear seats when folded that I'm selling if anyone is interested. I'm asking $75 for it + shipping. PM me if anyone is interested.

I have both the grey rubber ones (including boot mat) and the JCW checker mats. paid for both of them out of pocket though. I asked my MA and she said no dice... apparently they used to do that but her manager put a stop to it. I dunno... I'm set either way now so no complaints!

Now I know why we did not get any T-shirts......THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY!!!

Pep'r and I went to the dealership at lunch today to buy some and they only had winter shirts. They said it would be about six weeks for the new line to come out.

I got two chairs, carpeted mats and two inexpensive keychains. So it sounds like I may have hit the mother load.
