R50/53 Koni FSD shocks and F1 GS-D3 tires - what a difference!
Koni FSD shocks and F1 GS-D3 tires - what a difference!
I put some Koni FSD shocks in my MCS AND swapped my runflats for Goodyear F1 GS-D3 tires (in 215/45-17... kept the S-lites though) -- what a difference!!!!
Way more precise steering, no tramlining, softer ride, better handling and cornering, no more fear of potholes & bumps in the road -- this is how all Minis should be!! It's really made my Mini more fun to drive. I *highly* recommend both to everyone!

Yeah, the choice was between 215/40-17 and 215/45... There seem to be a fair number of people that have each. Went for 45 for a softer ride... seems to be ok, no rubbing or anything. My speedometer now seems to be a hair less accurate than before, as compared to the speed from my GPS (was previously overstating speed by 2 km/h, now it seems to be 2.5-3km/h off)
