My cruise control works as advertised with one minor difference.... I think the tap up and tap down features increase or decrease the speed by 1 KPH, not 1 MPH. I seem to recall that the manual said each tap was approximately 1/2 mph. Since the car is European and they use the metric system and since 1 kph= 0.6mph, I think each tap is 1 kph.

PS My experiences using this feature seem to prove that it takes 2 taps to alter the speed by 1 mph on level ground.
