R50/53 Hole in roof
Hole in roof
Ok, so not really a "hole" and not exactly in the "roof", but in that rubber liner around the sunroof, I just found a small hole (not big enough even for the key to fit) and it's not like a perfect hole, meaning that it wasn't machine made. It's on the driver's side, just behind the B pillar, for reference. Has anyone else found such an aberration? I have yet to drive my MINI in the rain (I have had it a grand total of 4 days), but this is somewhat disconcerting, since water and other impurities could make their way into that rubber seal. I'm about to call the dealer and see what they have to say, but I just wanted to run it by NAM first. Thanks for the help.
Aw man, that sucks. Now you can't be like me and drive through toxic gas zones safetly...it'll leak in and implode the eyeballs of all that is holy!

I've never heard of that happening around NAM...definately ask the dealer!

First, Jonathan, if you really dont want that post that is an example of your insanity, you can edit it and delete it. Second, the dealer should fix the hole. It was probaly an insect or something.

...ahhh that was good, the first part that is. And as for bglct99, don't be alarmed, get the dealer to look at it, that's what they're there for and if you have a mouth and mention "i've had this car for 4 days and im already here!" demand for a MINI Messenger bag or something
