R50/53 MINI ONE vs. MINI COOPER

Are there major differences between the Mini One and the Mini Cooper? I love the Black grille on the Mini One. Any chance that the Black grille will be an option on future Mini Coopers?

Other than a kick-*** 163 hp supercharged engine? Well, better equiped packages, sports suspension, and more colors to choose from specific to the S. But c'mon, who in their right mind wouldn't go for the beefier engine?

Actually the MINI One has a "little" Less HP than the Cooper.
Wandersen is correct in that it is a stripped down version of the MINI Cooper.
It has less interior features as well as fewer available options.
As for the original question.....
If you look in the Members MINI Gallery you will see that some people have blacked out the grille. The "MINI Motoring Accessory" Aero Kit has a Black Grille.
People have been using this part to get the effect I think your going after.
