I am curious if any of you know anything about the new Peugot engine going into the 07 MINI. Surely some vehicle out there already has something similar in it. Lets forget for the moment that it's turbocharged as opposed to supercharged. Is it dual overhead cam, is it variable valve, is it higher reving? Do you expect it to be better in the MPG?

The new motor sounds very advanced, But I am not sure I want to own one for the first year or two, Just in case.....

 

Someone will have to assume "Guinea Pig" duties...

 

Not to sure about the electronic water pump. Sounds great in theory but if you blow it's fuse...
