Greetings Mini Cooper Owners!
I couldn't wait and purchased a Canadian Launch edition in April 2002.Took delivery in late May 2002. The car keeps getting better and better. I originally was set for the Cooper S.
Drove the Cooper S on Saturday... Wow, (grin)
In my travels in and around Toronto I understood that Mini Canada was supporting an upgrade programme that allowed customers to upgrade from the launch to the "S" when it became avail. Unfortunately my dealer (Budds Oakville) are not aware of it. They offered to buy back my Mini at a surprizing and shockingly low price. Will not upgrade now because of the cost and hassle.
Somewhat confused,and disappointed. Anyone else in Toronto area have the same experience?
