you could also try getting some of the plastic masking film like they have on the cars before delivery. it will go on and come off easily and it's cheap... you can get it at home depot even

yeah i was thinking about htat.. i could maybe ask the dealer to leave it on!?

you could ask... but it's probably better to let them take it off and wax the car... then put it on. that way the rest of the car is protected from crap too.
