Holy craptastic prices, Batman!

I love my MINI, not that you can tell from my backing into a sign about 2 weeks after delivery. I've been getting quotes for repairs...today's $1000+ estimate includes this line item:

LIFTGATE ADHESIVE NAMEPLATE "JOHN COOPER WORKS" $87.75

and I thought

LIFTGATE ADHESIVE NAMEPLATE "S" $24.75

was bad.

I guess that's the price one pays for being craptastically delicious!

you can always get a TYPE R emblem at autozone for like $3.
