Yesterday was quite frustrating. My mother called and wanted to talk with MrsDiff. We got in a tift and it got me upset. MrsDiff called on her way home from work and I told her to call my mom, I was still upset about what whent down with my mother and thus MrsDiff and I had words. She got home, I grabbed my keys and jacket and went for a drive in MIB.

MIB never fails to make me smile. After about a mile into the drive, my attitude had changed. I was no longer angry or upset with anyone, just happy.

Anyone else have their MINI do the same thing to them?

 

I think we need more details of the argument.

 

I'm sure its a MINI thing but I also think its a "car" thing if your into cars ... Done that lots of times in lots of different cars!

 

yea, if ur into cars in general, i think most of them will bring u peace

Okay - I'm a stick in the mud about this one. I might go SIT in my MINI if I feel the need to let off some steam, but I learned a long time ago to never drive when I'm really, really pissed........

Good luck with the ladies. I know how hard it is to deal with just one that is frustrated with you at a time, but two...my heart goes out to you...still I'd rather have two people I care about so much be mad at me than have no one around at all.

 

I just did the same thing this past weekend.
The GF and I got into a huge argument... so I hopped in Claire and went up to Holy Hill (amazing rustic, windy, turny roads in WI)... and an hour later I was happy and back to normal.

When one girl starts acting up... I'll always have the other!

 

I know when I'm grumpy, all I have to do is go for a motor (even a short one will do!) in the MINI, and somehow, it all feels better. It doesn't matter if its an argument, or just an irritating day, etc...Like magic! And I can't help but smile while I'm in it no matter what my mood.
