I'm torn....
I have an 04 MCS, pretty much fully loaded, plus some mods (CAI, SC Pulley, plugs, and wires). The car is a 1.5 years old w/ 40K miles on it. I financed the whole $27k to buy it.

Is the LSD, the high mileage I have, and any new tweaks to the 06s worth me trading it in and probably taking a lose? What's the wait time on an 06 MCS, too?

Oh, I should add, I'm a very spirited driver.

 

I have the same delema. I have a late 03 ome month later it would have been called an 04. I think I am at the point now it would be cheaper to upgrade my car to 06 specs at a later date. I have seen trannys from 05 for like 500 bucks and a LSD for 1000. so I think when I go for my first clutch I can get a LSD and upgraded gear ratios for cheaper than the loss on my car.
I can't really afford well I could I dont want to throw a few more K at my car right now to up grade the year. the thing I wish I did have was the O-***** handles for the pass and the child sensing seat. with my current 03 mini my son can't sit in the front for many years. Downside on the 06 for me is the discontinuation of the spacecloth. I really love my cloth seats.

yeah, it depends how much you owe and how much it is worth, and BTW, if you decide to buy one, and if you can swing extra cash, get the JCW
