Just keep in mind though, they aren't 'collector' editions. They just prepacked. You're better off specing your own car if you want a 'collector' edition, because chances are, there won't be another one like it.
That is true, we were discounting them toward the end. I think invoice was around $25,500. I think that we sold about 20, and ended up selling the last couple for around invoice.

One year ago, I sold my then 17 month old '04 MCS with 17K miles for $22K or exactly $700 above of what I paid brand new for it in October '03.
The car was 100% bone stock and din't even have any packages from factory. No sunroof, no xenons, no auto air conditioning, no leather, no 17" wheels. It was pretty much a "stripper" MCS with a few options picked a la carte (Harmon Kardon, Rain sensing wipers, self dimming mirror, OBC, MFSW, 16" V-spokes, Leatherette, chrome bits). The car was Chili Red/White with an union jack on the roof. (Pretty much my current '05 MCS is a carbon copy of my '04 spec).
Put an ad in www.cars.com and got the "Premium" $50 add which allows up to 12 photos of the car and runs until it sells. I sold the car in just 6 days after the I listed the car there. Sold it in cold hard cash, even the person buying it refused to take a test drive! They loved the car, gave me the money and drove away. They didn't even attempted to haggle the price. They just told me that the car had the right color and equipment combination. They were looking for a stripper MCS vs a fully loaded one.
The car was pristine and still had 3 years left on the warranty.
The resalve values of these cars are incredible!

Mine does not have cruise. I bought it off the floor, so I am not sure if you could order the MC40 package and add anything else to it from the factory or not.
I would guess that they were only availabe with the MC40 package, but I cannot be sure.
