Or as John McKay said, "On a majic carpet ride"
My Mats were free. I already have several hand knoted Qums, Grays, Tabrize, etc. God I love being a name dropper when no one knows the names. Well most people anyway.

Motor on.

The trick is getting a Tabrize in the right shape for the rear.

Do not deal with that dealer. Unless you are in a market with no dealers, or the area is out of it's allocation, go to another dealer, even if it is across the country.

It may be cheaper shipping it. And the satisfaction of not dealing with crooks.

My dealer in Southampton, NY through in the rubber mats when a I placed my order

I called all of the dealerships on Northern Calif. and was told that the option was to pay the $2,500 dealer markup that included the mats, wheel locks and protection package (sounds like a good wax job) or buy from a couple dealerships and put my name on a year waiting list for an "S". Great choice. I just got back from a trip from Hawaii and it looks like no markup. Go figure. :???:

Sounds like it's the regular $400.00 make ready paperwork fee and he's throwing in free mats!

Find another dealer. I also used MINI of the Hamptons (picked her up yesterday!). No markup, great to deal with, no wait list and lots of cars on the lot (Coopers and Ss) and no wait list if you want to order custom. And they'll ship it to Cali for a LOT less than $2500 I bet. (Oh, and only an $85 fee for titling and the like)

Good luck.

the dealer that we are using said that because it is a special order car that they do not mark up the price at all, they just ask you to buy floormats. They charge $95 for the floor mats and they are the carpeted kind-very nice but there is no way I would pay $400.00 for those. I don't know why the dealers just suck it up a bit. They are still making money aren't they? The dealer told us that they want us to buy the mats and made it sound like this is a good thing for your ccar and will make it last longer not We just aren't making enough and need to get more people over a barrel.
