R50/53 Programable options.
Programable options.
Today I went with my cousin to the Acura dealer so she can finalize a deal on a 2006 TSX. While the sales person was working on the paperwork, I was thumbing through the brochure. I noticed that the TSX has some of the programable options as my MINI. Such as follow-me lights and key fob opening option. You can even set the interval for the dome light. But with the TSX, the driver can change the settings with the buttons of the steering wheel and the multi-function display at any time.
Of course if I wanted to change any of the setting in my car, I have to take it to the dealer and cough up an hour of labor. Oh wells, at least I have rain sensing wipers
. But if I want to change the sensitivity, the dealer has to do it

Agreed. It does seem a bit silly, but then again, how often are you apt to change the programming?
My MA told me that she can do the programming and it won't cost me a thing. I would check with your MA if they can do it as well.
