My MINI has been extra good this year. I've lately gone crazy with retrofits and upgrades. Christmas started a little early--and my car was delivered to me on Dec 9 2004 so it's a combination Chrimstmas/Birthday. Since around November I've added:

Grille-Guy front grill

Factory arm rest retrofit

OEM Chromeline interior retrofit, including oem tach & ebrake handle

Oem bluetooth kit retrofit (and upgraded to a bluetooth phone)

Whalen Shift Machine, customized

JCW front strut brace

Cobalt rear chassis brace (with MINI logo I applied)

Dension Icelink Plus, CD Changer version

License plate surround with MINI logo

New Zaino complete treatment from clay bar up (last week)

Honestly though, I probably would have given the presents even if it wasn't Christmas. I also got myself a couple of Christmas presents:

Lots more to see in my gallery!

New golf shoes - they fit in the back real good till I get to the golf course.
But remember not to leave them in the car, take them out when not going to and from the course.

My MINI won't be ready for pickup for another month or so, but my family got me the glove box organizer, TomTom permanent docking kit, plus a MINI sweatshirt and keychain, both very hot.

Finally, after owning Gryffon for 2+ years, he got an Alta intake for Christmas. Thanks, everyone, for the bits and pieces of advice for how to install it easily! I did a bunch of forum-searching before setting out to do the task, and I must say it was rather straightforward.

MINIque and I...

got an Injen short ram intake installed last weekend as Santa's gift to us. My passengers say they feel a seat-of-the-pants difference and find the new sound impressive!

Merry/Happy Christmahanakwanzaakah!

I bought Heidi a new Dinan Intake. Her first oil change happens to fall on the holidays also. I spent a couple of hours shining her up yesterday.

My brother bought her a new Alta Antenna.

I hope all are well. Get some rest. Eat well. Be merry. Motor on.

Stuck in LAS

Whooo Hoooo, Rodan also got the Factory Armrest Retrofit (and some other goodies) but alas, BMW forgot to include the instructions for installation. We thought about just plowing in but will wait until we can get some guidance. Anyone know if there is a place on-line with a PDF of factory instruction sheets? TIA and Merry Christmas!

Since my birthday is on December 24, Xmas gifts are always a bit bigger.

This year, I got a 30gb iPod Video, 40$ of iTunes music store cards, and some money to take care of my lil MCS...

btw, Merry Xmas to all of you!

Thanks for the link, D M C S, however, I already found that one doing a google search and my new armrest is like the one that Tarzan got above. It seems to be a pretty serious install and a bit more complex than the PDF you've so kindly provided. I agree that our cars should come with this as standard equipment.

She got Ian's auto-up circuit and the M7 ultimate lower grille. Auto-up was installed today, but I'm waiting until I get a drill and something to modify the M7 grille for a tow hook.

Canadian mats, and Nigel is not even off the boat yet!

Coming from Moss: Stealth light bulbs for sides and front turn signals, smoke out film for side reflectors and yellow film for fog lamps, and short antenna – what can I say, they were having a good sale. Merry Christmas to all!

Red Baron S got a Sirius unt to match the one in our MCC. A set of Torx screw drivers (FINALLY!). I got a gift FROM my MINI: an awesome "40 years of motoring" tee from MotorSwag! I still have the tag: "To Ken...Love, the Red Baron S.

Also got a pair of Puma driving shoes with a little Ferrari logo on the side. Red and white to match my car.
