R50/53 MINI in snow!
MINI in snow!
I was in Lake Tahoe this weekend and got to drive my MCS in snow and in experience using chains. Overall it was a great experience. I wish I lived closer to snow to drive in it more.

Why are your chains on the back?? Just kidding
. Got to drive mine in the snow this morning, about five inches leaving my house for work. I'm always amazed how well these little cars do. I've driven in snow every winter since I got it (three now) and have never had any problems. Last year I did a 60 mile commute in the snow without a problem. 4x4's and cars with chains were sliding off the road, but I just kept going. Have yet to put chains on this car, should be unstopable with those on.
Have fun, be safe.

try living in western germany
I have a 2005 MCS and right now its covered in 5 to 6 inches of snow as I also own a 2002 Ford Explorer 4x4 for the winter time. I will say the front wheel drive and traction control does help during the winters but why risk totaling it when you own a 4x4 huh...........
