Well, I need to wash my MINI.

I tried a few days after I got it, and the passenger door froze shut. It now has almost 2 weeks of salt caked on it, and I am going to go through the wash.

My question is this - some folks have suggested a squirt of de-icer to the locks, but how can I de-ice the passenger side with no lock core?

It is finally above 20*F (if it really warms up today), and I am going to take the plunge, so to speak. I just can't wait for the elusive 32. It probably wont come for another 2 weeks or so.

Poor dirty MINI.

All of you in warmer climates probably have no idea of the wonderful patterns that the Windshield Washer overspray makes on the doors, as it salts up and then freezes. I now have a W/VR/W. White roof, VR top half of doors, White bottom half of car.
