The March 2003 issue of Automobile magazine is dedicated to, ugh, SUVs. So I'm thumbing through it and lo and behold in the SUV digest section is a MINI Manual of Motoring!!

I don't know if this is something at the dealers. Its very funny, an irreverant take on Motoring and the perfect jab at SUVs.

Yeah, MINI!

Cool! I wonder, is this in newsstand maggies or just for subscribers? I'm going right out to find one! Thanks for the tip, baby!

Cheers!

A VP of my department got a Motoring Manual in one of his auto mags and he brought it to me thinking I did not have one. It was very thoughtful of him.

I think that maybe a motoring manual will help make those that actually buy SUV's realize that there is quite a bit more to an automobile that a big fat tax right off. Maybe, just maybe, they might decide that an SUV REALLY isn't for them, maybe..

But then again, I've seen the way the civilians drive the SUV's, and I'd be afraid of one of them driving a MINI! Might give the rest of us MINIacs a bad name!
