It's Not a GIRL CAR It's MY CAR!!!

Who gives a **** so long as you love what YOU own and DRIVE.
I hate to see these posts coming around all the time, but at least the original post here was well thought out.
Cheers

yes one that, girls like to go for a "RIDE" in, esp. blondes, and brunettes and redheads... wait thats like every type, never mind... You tend to get more chicks if you are slightly muscular, and plenty masculine. Hmmm that reminds me of someone...

Well, those who are silly enough to refer to specific cars as "girl cars" need to be reminded of the Mini's awesome rallye history at Monte Carlo. 'Nuff said.

I love the list of " mens cars " In our local "playground" we see most every one of them at one time or another and there isnt one on that list that a well prepped mini can't give fits to or at the very least hold its own for a WHOLE lot less money

Top 10 cars for men
1. Porsche 911 coupe, $70,095 - $193,765
2. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, $28,504 - $35,274
3. Ford GT, $143,345
4. Volkswagen Phaeton, $68,905 - $104,455
5. BMW 6-series convertible, $76,900
6. Jaguar XK8 coupe, $69,830
7. Maserati Spyder, $92,302 - $96,465
8. Mercedes CL, $96,720 - $132,320
9. BMW 6-series coupe, $69,900
10. Porsche 911 convertible, $79,895 - $141,995

If you have to worry whether your automobile defines you...well...then...you have a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggg and ugly road ahead of you.

I think some will say it's a girls car only because you know girls love how cute the Mini is...i say if you're a guy, take advantage of this and get a Mini and the girls will come looking for rides
It's a win win situation

The first I ever heard of a MINI being considered a "girl's car" was right here on this site. Best I can tell, the perception doesn't exist anywhere else.

I'm a girl, and i love MINI's.

But i want to marry a man with a MINI Preferably Electric Blue, of course.

And that list of Men's cars sounds like my office park.

Well put!

I'm with the crowd (hey Toastie, how's it going?) who thinks that this question is irritatingly stupid, comes up waaayyyy to often, and that people who care about it really need to grow up. And every time it comes up, I feel compelled to jump in and say so.

And I'm out.

I've driven it aroun a bit already, and no clutchy-burny smell, so that's good. BTW, I pulled the car out of the garage with the wallet key one day at random and my parents just stared and thought, "who taught my son how to drive stick!"

I thought MINIs are a guys car, not a girls car! I've met way more male MINI owners than females, and most of my female friends don't even, you know, get it. The lure of the MINI eludes them. They think Giles looks like a clown car, whereas all of my male friends want to drive him! I now get props for being a cool car chick!

Plus, at the first MINI event I attended (MINIs at Michigan International Speedway in Oct.), I was the only female driver out of 24 MINIs. I realize some of the MINIs there were co-owned by spouses, and there were plenty of women there as navigator, but I was the only female present with my own, personal MINI.

Sheesh!

Okay, if the MINI is a girl's car, then I'm the bearded lady. Sign me up for the East German women's powerlifting team.
