effusant -

That would be Loynes Dr. Here is a link from the City of Long Beach about it.

6 FEET of asphalt???? Since it's last paving it is pretty mild. 35 MPH speed limit . I seem to recall a MINI crashing there last year - anybody know anything about that?

Craig - I tried to paste an image of that end of the 74, but was unsuccessful. Anyway, I do it about once a month and in addition to the twistiness, you have the added element of danger . . . as in 200 foot plus drop offs, etc.

(I just had Steve install camber plates, so if you see me by the side of the road, all jacked up, you'll know I'm scratching for more negative camber. Maybe see you in Seal Beach on Saturday.)

cf, bnb - that would be the one. It's been 4 or 5 years since I've gone out that way. I actually grew up right on the other side of the armory from there. But I always ended up hanging out in HB instead of Belmont Shore or LB. It was closer and more familiar due to the how the local school districts were built.

btw, I think I might be dyslexic: lyons rd (=) loynes dr.
