MINI key fob locking

Hey Guys,

I just had driving lights and a roof rack installed today at the dealership. I just realized my key fob doesn't lock or unlock the doors anymore. It flashes the side marker and parking lights when i click the button on the key and it unlocks or locks the hatch but not the driver or passenger door. What the heck could be going on??? I just paid an ungodly amount of money to have this stuff installed and to have my car returned to me broken pisses me off to say the least.

They may have goofed on the programing somehow with the driving lights, should be an easy fix. Just go back to the dealer.

I had the dealer program my FOB for the alarm I install and I just had to take a second trip to the dealer to get my reprogramming done again. I was told that on '05 models the programming doesn't stay when an additional feature is added. The FOB needs to be completely reprogrammed everytime so keep a list of all of your options you had / want.

Type up something on card stock and then have it laminated keep in the glove box.

Everyone seems to have missing something important:

codemunkee said that he had stuff installed, and didn't attach any pictures! Are we going to stand for that!?!?

I'm considering the OEM roof rack and I'd like to see some closeups of the mounting points if you've got a camera handy.

Thanks,
Mike
