R50/53 The MINI Experience - Wednesday (first ski day)

I know, I'm a wimp!
It's been way too cold to bother skiing on Ontario's hills (actually, maybe molehills). They pretty much suck, especially when it's really cold.
But, it was time, and the weather was bright and sunny. I went here.
Perfect ski day.
Picked up two pairs of skiis at the ski shop (in for tuning) last night. The fit perfectly between the two seats (back seats down, natch). Even plenty of room for a passenger.
Way back over 400 posts ago my first query to MCO was about fitting skis into the MINI. No real direction from my fellow MCOers, but if you're wondering, you can get up to 190s in that baby!
The MCS was perfect on the back roads to the ski hill, and in the generally unplowed parking lot. That MINI sure looked good when I started pulling my skis out of the hatch. The guys in their SUVs looked on in amazement!

Oh! Kickass! I use 180s as I like to flip around in the snowboard parks and **** off the poser snowboarders. Nothing like having a guy on skis show you up in a halfpipe! I grew up on a mountain, Mt Bachelor in Bend OR, so that's good knowledge to know my skis fit...now if it'd just freaking snow..SNOW I SAID...SSNNOOWW!!!!!!
