Hello all,
Well in the morning my wife and I will be on a train to Tacoma. Once we get to the train station in Tacoma, we will be picked up by someone from the dealer in a Mini. Then we drive a little over two miles to where we will be brought to Mini mecca. After some small talk and some paperwork we will then drive away in our new 03 Mini. YEAH BABY!.........yeah.

I noticed in a picture in the little book I picked up at the dealer. This really cool keychain. Does it come with the Mini? If not I will try my best to get them to throw it in as part of the deal.
Wish us luck.

Congrats, and good luck, yellowdesmo. I, too, am expecting a silver/black MC, currently on the Jupiter Diamond, due to pull into Calif. on the 31st, when it will then have to make it's way up to Rasmussen MINI in Portland, Oregon. Where are you located? I envy you, as I'm still 2-3 weeks away from picking mine up. I'm having a Remus exhaust, an air filter, a driver's side parcel shelf, and the shorty antenna put on by the dealer, to go w/ all 3 packages- no Nav system, rubber mats part of the dealer prep. Not too much longer for some of us

The key chain normally does not come with the car, but people have had them thrown in.. On a up note, you will most likely get a bunch of other cool things in the mail after you pick up your car. (im going to let them be a supprise)

And by the way, welcome to the club!!

fms,
I live in Vancouver, WA and will be going to Rasmussen for everything else. They are only about 45 min from my house. Also I have a Remus exhaust on my Ducati and love it. I was very happy to find out that Remus makes one for the Mini. I looked at the one that Rasmussen had on display and it looks like a nice system. I'm sure you will be very happy with it, I would love to hear what it sounds like when you get it installed. When you get your Mini we could get together as mine will be stock for a little while. That way you can drive mine and see how much more power you gained.

Thechandler81,
Thank you for the warm welcome. OH, and thank you for teasing me by not telling me. Now I'm going to cry.

Yellowdesmo, thanks for the drive swap invite. I'm in Eugene. Might have to see about hooking up in the Portland area some time,as soon as my MINI gets here. Maybe there'll be another PDX (Portland MINI Club) rally in the near future. Wow, a Ducati- what make, year, etc? One of the coolest pieces of automotive machinery made, IMHO
