When the new MINI debuts next fall, will the 'vert continue on in it's current form, be all-new along with the hardtop, or be dropped until the new version comes out?

I'd really prefer the convertible, but if it doesn't get re-designed and get the new engines (which I'm excited about), I'd probably go for the hard-top with the sunroof.

Does anyone have any idea? I know it's a year away, but since I already know that's the model year I'll be purchasing I'm desperate for more info.
