ok, i wasn't really sure where to post this, so i figured it would get the most exposure in MINI Talk. like everyone else, i've been seeing the footage from New Orleans and the Gulf Coast States. and to be honest, i'm sick of sitting here doing nothing. since i'm unable to go down to New Orleans and volunteer with the Red Cross, i've decided to do a sort of charity drive. this will be similar to a walk-a-thon, only involving MINI's. now the only problem is, i've never done anything like this. so i've come here, to NAM, so seek help. if anyone has any experience organizing something like this, please please please, help. i was hoping to do it fairly soon, probably 2 weeks from this saturday, so i have a very narrow time table to work with. so anyone can offer any guidance, feel free to email me at Wraith1416@comcast.net. also, this drive is being organized using the Michigan MINI Motor Club website at www.michiganmini.com. if you look in the forums, under Club Meets and Planning you'll see the thread for organizing the drive. help is greatly appreciated.

 

Minis of Miami is organizing a "Poker Run" next Thursday 9/9/05 to raise funds for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
