I noticed the other night when I got in the car that something seemed different with the lighting...in the tach, there's the markings for 1, 2, 3, etc. but then there are two marks on either side of the 6...are these supposed to be lit? Right now I have the numbers lit and the "red line" marks lit. Seems like the ones around the 6 used to light up but I could be crazy.

 

nope, those don't light up, those light up for the cooper owners i believe who has a 6 grand rpm redline.

HAA! This is funny, I too thought my tach was busted but alas my new MCSC also does not light up as mentioned.


And to think I traded my old MINI because the tach lights didnt work
