Why do you feel you have something to prove?

Nothing whatsoever. Just the facts . I thought that they might help clarify my previous statement.

Wow!
Not sure what to say to that. Never met the guy, only saw his old posts and pictures of his car, new and old paint.
He has much more power than nearly 99% of other MCS’s at 280 hp, WHP!
And, anything much over originally intended power has to be an issue with reliability.
Anyway I think he has a way cool MCS.
I will never be that extreme with a MCS but you gota luv those that do.

Incidentally since El, and his controversy have left this forum things seem a little different.

So tell us about this 250whp car and its mods. I am very interested how he got these #'s. Are you sure we are talking measured WHP and not BHP or a calculation of parts added =?

Jans car made 281 on the stock fuel system and no spray, he now has the fuel system done and when its tuned it should be in the 320 - 350whp range ( no spray ) actually it has been realiable...we went all the way to san francisco and back with 0 problems and then turned around and did another show the next day. I believe we put over 1000 miles on the cars that weekend. Hubie drives his from Pheonix to Los Angeles without any problems so why should jans car be any different once the bugs are worked out? Big hp #'s come at the expence of some R&D and sometimes problems, but hom many other mini's can you say are actually near his numbers?

Yes, of whp is that which I speak. The trick is all in the execution. The head, intake manifold, intercooler runners, supercharger are all custom [by him] ported and polished. He runs the stock IC, a 19% pulley, lightweight crank, ++. The thing is, he has a guy on staff who can custom map the ecu and raise the rev limiter to 8500 rpm. 250+ whp at 8500 rpm, run every week or two on the track. He's never had a supercharger failure. 10,000 track and street [though he says it's now impossible to drive on the street...] miles with that setup. No problems .

Please start a new thread and tell me how he is accomplishing this. I guess I would like more detail.

19% reduction pulley and an 8500rpm redline, WOW! How long do the drive belts last? I bet the supercharger won't survive very long either.

I understand that eye-catching graphics are required for a project like this....but that solid red looked sooooo good.

Great pics
