The MINI went to court today!
Not for her transgression, but for her predecessor's. A 2000 Celica GTS 6 speed. It liked to take control of the gas peddle and get me in trouble.
My MCS sat patientely in the waiting room (otherwise known as the parking lot) while I was unceremoniously found "guilty as charged". Hhmnnnn....about 10 miles per hour over the speed limit. They're pretty tough in Toronto.
When I emerged from "the joint" to collect the MINI, some guys who were admiring her offered me their paid parking stub. That would've let me out of the lot for free.
They were seconds too late. I'd already paid the parking inside.
But the MINI had worked her charm.
