Hey all you closet Canucks out there, time to pony up and give your fellow Northerners the nod to where the good driving roads are. I've posted a couple of good rides around my area on previous posts but what about you? Where do you take your MINI or where will you take your MINI to get the "twisties fever" out of your system in Canada? To lead by example is the way, or so I am told, so here goes. Ontario. Hwy 518 between Hwy 11 and Hwy 69. District of Parry Sound. A true "snake belly trail". If there was a rock in the way they went around it, not over it or through it.(this is the first trip I'll take when I get my MINI. 2hrs out of my way but worth every kilometer) So post lots, post often, and bring on the twisties.

wainair,
The above sounds like alot of fun!
If you get a real bad case of the "Twisties fever" you could always head south.... way south and check out the "Deals Gap" also known as the Dragons tail or something like that.
I plan on running this route at some point after I take delivery of my S.

Ok... the real reason I wanted to add a post here...... I noticed that as of now we don't have one Dealer Review in the Rating System for Canada. Just thought I would stop in and mention that we want your reviews too.

Happy Motoring!

Well, as soon as mine arrives, I will give a review. But I think why most of us Canucks haven't reported in, is due to the wait. There hasn't been a whole lot of 'S' models delivered thus far around Canada. One dealership said they've only had in 3 and sold them as per ordered. The next batch is due next month. And I think among Canadian MINI soon-to-be owners, most of us are awaiting the 'S' over the Cooper.
Cheers,

Thanks for the suggestion Sfiveten Deals Gap looks truely amazing, but it's about 15hrs out of the way of non-stop driving on an I-road. Yawn. There must be plenty of Canuck Coopers out there though, because my salesman looks like he's gained 10lbs. Therefore their must people driving their MINI's on something other than the 401, because I've only seen two, and 10lbs of gain is more than the sale of two MINI's. Where are these MINI drivers hiding? It's nice to do the Canadian thing sometimes and sit quitely by, but sometimes we need to pipe up. Nows just that kind of time. Where are you driving. Don't worry we won't give the secret away, but please let your fellow MINI drivers, Cooper and CooperS alike, know where to go, insted of being quiet and telling them where to go.

There are some great drives here in Maine too... If you go far enough north, there are miles and miles of twisty roads throught the mountains, with no worries of little kids jumpin out in fron tof you car, because there are none! I'm going to head up there soon!
