I was told that regular (high performance)tires are a better ride than run flat tires.
If this is true is there a spair tire (donut tire) available.

You may want to check out the tire forum. I know there's been a LOT of discussions regarding the run-flats.

We assume you have a MCS - in which case there is no room for a spare ... other threads discuss carrying a can of Fix-A-Flat ...

Also remember MINI's roadside assistance...assuming you live in an area that has one or more MINI or BMW dealers, you should be able to count on them. It's one of the benefits of ownership (at least until the warranty runs out).

Buy AAA membership and replace the lousy runflats....much better ride as well as handling...
