So for those of you who have owned their Mini for a length of time. Does the plastic dash hold up pretty well? What I'm getting at is , does it scratch easy or is it pretty durable for what it is. Also do any of you have a Remus exhaust. I was in the dealer and noticed they had a Remus cat back on display. I have a Remus exhaust on my Ducati and love it. So I was wondering if the one built for the Mini is any good compaired to whats out there?
Just about one more week and I will have my Mini. The wait is still killing me. I guess the wait feels like I'm slidding down a 50' razor into a pool of alcohol. Do you know what I mean?

Well, I've had mine for almost a year now, plastic held up ok, except for minor swirl marks on the Tack and spedo windows from terrycloth towels... CURSES! but that's minor and I'm the only one who can see them according to my girlfriend.

Plastic IS plastic, if you are concerned about scratches, look into the same clear materials used on the front end, like Invica shield? anyways, palstic will only last so long...

I have not heard any good reviews on the remus at all, other than sales pitches.

Good Luck

Thank you for the link. I'm not sure that I want to put a cat back on. I really don't want that sound, just like all the Honda's and ect.

I have the patina alloy.
I've had no real issues w/ the dash. It seems to have held up well over 6&1/2 months
It's the door panels, that scratch and scuff.
I've been as careful as I can, but my kids go in & out of both the front & rear seats, and the door panels are starting to show some wear & tear.

Peace,
D
