Is DE Light on Minis?

I am fullfilling some familial obligations in Delaware.... I have been driving around Newark and Wilmington and have only seen 2 Minis in several days... I wonder how many Minis there are here....heck I have 2 Minis in my apartment complex in Houston... and see at least 4 a day...

Delaware's MINI population is alive and strong!

Delaware's MINI population is alive and strong.
I work in Newark and drive a MCS in electric blue. There's a BRG MCS in my industrial park, and each morning I see a pair of Red MC's on Route 1 going north, and a Dark Silver MCS going south.
The state may be the second smallest, but we know a great car when we see one!

I spent the first 26 years of my life in Newark, DE... By the end of a VERY LONG weekend (in-laws were involved) we saw a total of 8! Not too bad... but my point of reference is Houston... were I saw 5 just driving home from the airport..... I can say, I spent some time in Pike Creek, Hockessin, Chads Ford, etc and I REALLY missed my MINI on those back roads... the crappy G6 wasn't cutting it!

I will be up again in April.... Hope to see more then!

BTW, is Otto's BMW the only Mini dealer? I hated dealing with them on BMWs when I lived there....

BTW#...we had Capriotti's Subs (the best) 3 times over the weekend and took some for the plane.... nothing down here can hold a candle to your subs, cheesesteaks, Chickencheesesteaks or Bagles! Some things I miss about DE, somethings I don't

Otto's isn't the only dealer in the area - there is also TATE's MINI of Annapolis (MD) immediately over the Chesapeake Bay bridge on MD route 50. I have dealt with both dealerships and I'm glad to say that Otto's is an excellent MINI dealership. I am actually closer to Tate's but due to the poor way I have been treated at Tate's and the great way I have been treated at Otto's, the drive to PA is worth it.

Capriotti's is one of the best secrets in DE! I was in Las Vegas last year and found a Capriotti's there! I showed them my Delaware driver's license and my "Bobbie" was free!

Hope there are more MINI's when you return the DE on your next trip.
