I do need to thank everyone involved with the St. Louis MINI Club for putting on many great events. Every event has been a blast and well worth the drive. See you at Aug. 20th for the Winery run!
im shure their are more minis close behind me and they will be showing soon im shure
I would have joined you soon but the thought of 100k+ miles on my MINI so soon didn't really excite me. So I bought another car (05 Mustang GT convertible) to take the load of the MINI in the nice weather. I've now been stuck in the 70k mile range for what seems forever (74k+ total on MCS, just under 4k on Mustang in 7 weeks).
Well on Friday 8/19 at Pocono east track "THDUKE" rolled over the 100K mark it now reads 100408 miles after 3 fun days of track time this weekend at Pocono Raceway.
Congrats, dkstone! If I had driven some of the trips that I flew to the Southeast the past 3 years, I may have joined the 100K club by now, too. I'm only at 48,800+ in Wanda, my 2003 MCS.
you bet my dad curses me every time i tell him my milage, telling me no one will want it but then again i never plan on selling it anyway
basically as hard as i drove my car im still impresses how well its still works still starts every morning and still the stock origanal clutch and theirs no sighns of slipage so thats cool, im just in the market to find a pair of used drive shafts since mine are grinding and clicking so my mini is sorta parked right now, but that was caused when i hit a curb a year ago and replaced everything but the drive shaft
well it finally cought up to me
but everything else engine whise works fine
later

Congrats DBWILLDO on your 100K of happy motoring, now for the next milestone of 200K. Now that the season has started I will start to rack up the miles once more should hit 150K by mid summer now at 117K.
so you all have the original superchargers on your cars. i thought they were only rated to last around 100,000 miles? also anybody in a regular cooper with high miles out there. you all seem to be MCS owners.
1 Norcal club member has 100K+ on his cooper (stock)
