Anyone experienced a problem where the seat will move for/aft and the easy entry lever works, allowing seat to be tilted forward but the recline level (inboard lever) does not function and will not allow the seat to be reclined (or rake adjusted in any way)?

I tried the procedure at http://www.r53w11.com/frontseats.htm but it is for a different issue and expects that the seat can be fully reclined, which mine can't.

Any pearls of wisdom or is it yet another trip to the MINI dealer?

 

I know a notice went out from Mini about
replacing levers. You may have to check
with the dealer to see if your vehicle is
one of the 'chosen.'
