For all you kids keeping score at home... I just hit 20k miles for the second time in a new Mini, and 1k posts here on what we used to call MCO back in the day.

The first 20k turn of the odometer was in an 02 IB/W MC that I bought slightly used, drove the living **** out of for 25k miles, then sold for more than I paid for it.

Latest 20k mark was hit in my 04 DS Works S. Though I love this car to death (despite or because of the fact that I drive it 80 miles a day commuting to work) I am now monitoring news on Gabe Bridger's site about the 06 Special Options packages. Might be hard to resist a tasty little vehicular burrito stuffed at the factory with various JCW kits, Recaros, LSD, cool new wheels, a silver roof and the inevitable special 06 salsa that will be announced just before it goes into production.

Anyway, just recognizing a few Mini mile markers. Motor on, comrades!
