Did anyone buy the MINI Luggage that fits perfectly in the boot? How is it, and who makes it?

 

I didn't purchase it, so cant comment on it quality or usefulness. But I almost positive it is made by Samsonite.

 

Yes, it is in fact Samsonite.

I travel a bunch and needed new luggage so I figured I'd get the MINI luggage. I like it fair enough and all three pieces cost less than one piece of Tumi.

It looks beat to crap after half a dozen trips with it through the airport (check luggage = beat up). Basically the 3M coated reflective piping all around the bags gets torn up REAL quick by airport trips that you check it. The rest of the bag looks GREAT so far - just the piping that's torn up.

Probably need new luggage next year just due to amount of travel.... may or may not get the MINI stuff - might go bak to TUMI.

I think someone posted on Mini2.com a while back that the same but non-MINI branded luggage sizes were available in, of all places, WalMart! For a lot less!
