After a 4 month waiting period, I finally received my PO #. My MINI is now officially "On Order". Of course, I went straight to the MINI Owner's Lounge after I got off the phone with the dealer. Upon checking out the options, I noticed the optional (15" 8-spoke wheels) were not listed. The "Premium Package" and "Leather" I ordered were listed but not the wheels. Did they forget something or is this the norm?? :???:

 

it takes them a few days to update the system for it to show up. i believe they all have a default configuration for the dealership to customized.

it took them 3 days to update mine when I order my MCS.

 

Good question! I ordered the 15" 8 spoke-- after reading your post, I checked my order. It says "15" alloy"-- Has anyone else ordered the 8 spoke? Is there a different designation for the 8 spoke, or is it listed as 15 inch alloy on your order? If this is not for the 8 spoke, I will call my dealer Fri 1st thing, to see if he can make change to 8 spoke.

I really like the 17'' Allessio wheels and Yokohama tires.
1..Because of the looks.
2..Because you can get your hand between the spokes and clean the rims.
3..Because you can see the brake calipers, especially trick if they're painted.

I have ordered the 8 spoke 15" as well and when that did not show up in the order detail on the owners lounge site I emailed them to see if they could clarify wether or not it was the 8 spoke design I specified on my order and not the 15" with the holes. They emailed me back and said that they don't have that specific detail on the site and to check with my dealer. Apparently 15" Alloy applys to either style as far as the owners lounge is concerned, and your order written by the dealership is the exact detail.
