R50/53 A 'snooty' MINI driver?!?

I am so happy to acknowledge other MINI drivers or anyone who wants to engage in conversation. then again, I am from Philadelphia originally, so maybe I lack the SoCal attitude

I get it...... and I've had 7 windscreens, so I guess that theory doesn't fly

I meet the description of the Cool Blue Cabrio that didn't wave but I know it wasn't me because I ALWAYS wave, I love motoring!
Even in a gas station I would wave, what could possibly happen at a gas station if someone approches?
Advise: Don't stop at gas staions where you don't feel safe, then you can feel free to be friendly because chances are someone WILL ask about your car.

There are so many Minis around here that I don't think that most drivers are tuned into the waving/comeraderie thing. I haven't tried it yet because people don't look receptive and I'm kinda shy
I flicked my high beams at a PS/B MCS this morning but no response. It was like I was driving a minivan or something.
It was on chruch and 26th street.
So don't be shy if anyone flashes you...unless he/she is wearing a raincoat.

I have noticed a definite rise in the "snooty" mini owner category. I try to send out a wave, but it has becoem less common to get one back.. is this a sign of the times. I hope not.. I think there are many common mini owners out there, that drive a mini like a taurus or an accord., Utilitarin mini owners oblivious to the motoring ideal.. it's sad.. but at least we will always be the ones who keep the flame alive!
