I should have had the ticket! Not that I'm complaining. The speeding ticket faries were looking down on me that day.

I don't put my plate on the front. I have been told that the front plate is how the radar bounces off. Hmmm,... I wonder.

BTW: I'm knocking on wood!

 

No tickets in 5 years. TILL I GOT A MINI S and 2 in 2 months since O WELL they are worth it.

 

It really takes self-control, or a good radar detector...the "good guys" are only doing their jobs... :smile:

Was going to Orlando from Ft. Lauderdale the other day for a MINI gathering and was traveling north on US 27. Just before the West Palm county line I saw a sherrif go south. Radar detector suddenly went crazy,TOO LATE :smile: A pretty cool guy.

 

No tickets upto now... Don't wanna "jinx" myself though

 

I would not ever get that lucky. As soon as I role down my window I get a ticket because i should say sorry sir but I was this or that but what comes out is you S O B dont have any thing better two do than F with peoples good time. Not a very good one obviously. A cobra of some short. Not really up on detectors. He told me that he got me with instant-on and no detector could get by that. Oh well like I said I really don't know much about detectors to argue that.

In CA, if you are caught at over 100, the minimum fine was $1200 a few years ago, and no hope of traffic school.

Your lucky. I went through a speedtrap last weekend
and had just slowed from 120 to 115. No, I don't normally
drive that fast but I was feeling peppy so I had opened
up on I 75. I will never know why but they didn't even
bother coming after me. Made my day!

Only been caught once since I got the MCS in Oct 02. The cop said I was doing 55 in a 35. He didn't give me a ticket. I though this only happend to hot chicks. Guess it was one of those rare nice cops, either that or he just thought my car was so cool.
