Becoming a Mini geek
Mini on order...what do we do to pass the time (besides hang out here)? go out and get The Italian Job. I know...It is a must have and should be issued when you place your order, but even with 300+ DVD's I didn't have it. I thought that Kool-aid I drank at the dealership tasted funny.
Hi Philpug!!! Congrats on your order!!! (details???)
One thing that seems to help soon-to-be owners are the threads entitled "Can't Wait For (insert month)." It's a great way for those who are waiting to share their joy and angst as their MINI works its way home. Lots of hot tracking tips usually available there.
Also, try to see if you can hook up w/ the local MINI scene to get an idea on what kinds of activities and vendors are in your area.

Hey, what a minute! What ARE you gettin' on your MINI???
Well I had purchased a MINI car cover and an auto-up module (see http://www.gbmini.net/MINIcircuit/index.shtml) before I even had identified a car to buy. I even bought a GBO and auto up module for friends with MINIs! There are lots of other MINI goodies you can get in advance of the purchase (euro shelf, oddments trays, alarm, glovebox organizer.) Start there, and come back and see us if you need more ideas...
