If you're talking about who I think you're talking about... Then it's probably because they're not actually a MINI Dealer, just somebody selling MINI OEM parts and therefore don't get much, if any of a discount when they buy them from their supplier...

I've bought several other things from that vendor and been extremely satisfied. The items I bought were either much less than I could find anyplace else, or just weren't available from anyplace else. Not only that but I've found their customer service to be outstanding, one of the few vendors who have responded to questions e-mailed to them in less than six hours... And not a canned response either...

Just like any other sponsor on any other site that I visit... Vendors who purchase ad space here on NAM get into my awareness when I'm ready to make a purchase for my car, and as such become part of my RESEARCH PROCESS as I look into my options for that purchase. But it doesn't guarantee I'll make my sale from them...

I seriously doubt that any vendor anywhere purchases ad space because it will guarantee them sales. They do so to raise awareness of their company and hope that doing so will encourage you to patronize them.
