R50/53 Seat back hinge sqeak with heat

Seat back hinge sqeak with heat
Every time I use my seat heater the seat starts to squeak at the back hinge. Moving the position temporarily stops it. I saw a thread about lubing the hinge - is this a semi-permanent fix, or should I take it in?
